3.Also below is  ‘Raise your Voice ‘ which Frijof has composed  and which we will look at possibly with some editing  ,with a view to reading  with chorus.

Raise Your Voice, Harvest Is Here

Raise your voice, harvest is here Raise your voice, abundance’s near: Carrots, marrows, apples sweet, Jams and chutney, pickled beet.

Chorus:
So let us praise with voices pure All that grows with much manure

The farmer toiled, the tractor groaned,
The ploughman swore, the farmhand moaned, But in the end all came together,
Despite rain, cold and stormy weather

Chorus

In spring the seed beds were prepared, The scarecrows made the children scared, Soon shoots raised their tiny heads
Firmly anchored in their beds.

Chorus

In summertime much growth was seen, Which pleased the bugs who do love green But man prevai-led: with much care
The crop was rescued and safe’s our share.

Chorus

Come autumn it is harvest time.
The corn we reap, the trees we climb. All of nature’s wondrous offers
Will soon end up in our coffers.

Chorus

In winter we live off the fat,
Curled up in comfort with the cat.
The larder’s full with foods assorted. Come Christmas time! We’ve got it sorted.

Chorus

And let the New Year church bells ring. In three months we shall welcome spring And start again the whole kerfuffle,
So I shall cease this tedious waffle.

But let us praise with voices pure All that grows with much manure
