Dear BVB
Alison is working at festivals various and living in a tent with limited wi fi in the next couple of weeks so I am posting the following for the next rehearsal
On Sunday 15th Sept she will be concentrating on the set list ( below) for Portishead Seniors : Wed. September 18th but please come and rehearse with us even if you are not playing
The final playlist will be mailed out after Sunday’s rehearsal on Monday 16th September
Below is the DRAFT playlist so you can practice. This is a much longer list than we need and we will play 12-14 of them .Those marked ** we will definitely play . These have all been rehearsed in the last few months
For Portishead seniors I am going to ask a group of readers to perfor the Smugglers Song a poem by Rudyard Kipling ( attached ) It has a chorus which I would like the band to join in with ( and audience )
Portishead seniors are old friends, and this is our third booking from them. Looking forward to giving them a good show.!
best wishes
Liz
