Please also bring What shall we do with the drunken sailor. It will be needed for a circle dance.
Thanks

Hi Everyone,
Here are the tunes for the Pill rehearsal on Friday October 11th from 7.00pm ‘til 9.00pm,
and the gig at Stoke Gifford Retirement Village on Saturday 12th October from 4.00
‘til 6.00pm.
The programme is roughly the same as the Portishead one would have been , but without
Briggy ( unless he would like to come and dance freely when the mood suits!- which
would be great), and extra tunes, as there will be much fewer words.
They have asked for some dancing, so I have also added the tunes for dancing.
There will be some spoken introductions to the tunes, unless we are just background
music, and then we’ll “play it by ear”!
First Half
1. Curly Headed Ploughboy( x3 1/2 ) intro boxes
2. Abbots Bromley Horn Dance ( x3) intro chords

For dances-
9. Blaydon Races (x3) intro fiddles and straight into
10. Hogmanay Jig (x3).
And just in case no-one wants to dance!……
Spare tunes- All in a Garden Green (x4) intro fiddles
Fred Pigeon’s March (x3) intro chords and basses
Enrich (x3) intro accordions and melodeon
Rather a lot of tunes to practice,I’m afraid, but as there will be no stories, poems etc,
and it may only be background music, I thought it would be best to “be prepared “!
See you all on Friday, and/ or Saturday.
Cheers
Heather M 😊🎶🤞
