Rehearsal plans for September, October and November

Brigstowe Village Band ; Plans for August/ September/ October

Dear Brigstowers

Even though the next months look uncertain steerers have made plans for  August/ September /Oct ; if necessary we will be prepared to amend/ cancel .

With optimistic spirit, we hope to run an ‘out of doors’ socially distanced rehearsal in line with regulations at the time.

For the rehearsal to take place  we need:

  1. government regulations for amateur musicians to have been relaxed
  2. decent weather

Sunday August 23rd rehearsal. Long Ashton tarmac area between the Youth Hall and Main Village Hall.: NB Changed date due to caretaker availability at Long Ashton

Lyn, Chris , and Liz  will be there  from 1.30 to organise

This will be a session run by members (Laurel is taking a well earned break )  – but I will provide a practice list  from Laurel’s selection ,

On the day

NB Car parking will be as before

Toilets

Youth Hall – hand sanitizer, wipes and spray provided –  we have to undertake to clean after each individual use .

LACA will provide appropriate chairs:

Bring your own!

All social distancing measures current at the time will need to be observed

We have to provide

  1. i) a list of names and emails of those who attend for track and trace purposes
  2. ii) a risk assessment  ( from the Heath Safety Executive  )  I will make this available

Cancellation

We will cancel on Friday 21stAugust if government regulations have not been amended after the time of posting

We will cancel by 12.45 on Sunday 23rdAugust if we initially think we can go ahead but the weather is bad .  This will be posted on the website.
