The All Day Workshop, this Sunday, 6th June! 10- 4pm.
Bring your lunch, and whatever flask of tea / juice / cake you want for morning and afternoon breaks. No sharing!! Covid rules still apply.
We’re focussing on getting the dance tunes ready for and the newest tunes ready for performance! Lots of fun to be had.

It will be video filming day for Opera Hat. Please dress in best BVB style. Spring flowers in hats or on stands would be lovely. The recording will be for visuals only. The soundtrack will have been compiled by Laurel from our audio submissions. Be as showy as you like – we love a spinning chair! – and look like you’re enjoying yourself.

There are 2 identical versions – but one has a metronome. I’d recommend using that one.The intro is accordion only, but I would suggest all melody players play it too, to ‘hit the ground running’ for the first A part – unless it confuses you! I will cut this out later to leave accordion.

Below I have listed the following ‘volunteers’ who are willing to take part in ‘readings’ (the evidence that I am drawing on is that they have done so in the past – or at rehearsal said they would like to be added to the list)

However, I don’t want to leave anyone out If anyone else who would like to join us, for a read through some of the ‘radio plays’ that we have performed in the past please mail me on elizabethnewman@live.com and I will add you to the doodle poll I intend to circulate – equally if you would like to be taken off this list !
We will meet every two weeks starting from a date to be decided-for an hour ‘ish’. I will mail ‘ scripts’ out .My aim is to use this ‘down’ time to rehearse which we don’t always have enough time to do near a gig – and it might be fun !
