– basically yellow / green (….shades of) against black / white.
Black trousers or skirt / white shirt or blouse / black, green or yellow waistcoat (optional), necktie (optional).
Hats: top hat or bowler decorated.
Music stands decorated with flowers if possible.

Saturday 13 January Wassail evening Liz and Chris’ house: 5pm – 8ish
American supper wassail evening with Marc Vyvyan-Jones. Friends and family welcome. Bring your signature dish (surname A-Ke savoury, Ko-Z sweet) and leftover bottles. Mulled wine, some soft drinks , breads and mince pies provided.
Saturday 10 March Brigstowe Village Band Workshop Long Ashton Community Centre 10am – 4pm
Day workshop led by Matt Norman. We’ll be learning some new tunes and working on ensemble playing. Lunch included. Non-members welcome so bring your friends along.

Saturday 7 July Edwardian Cricket Match – 150 year celebration. Grittleton Cricket Club. The Street, Grittleton, Wiltshire. SN14 6AW 5pm – 6.30 to 6.45pm. Please arrive at 4.30. Click here for Setlist and Running Order. There will be an additional practice for this gig on Friday 6 July at 7.30pm in the Youth Hall, Long Ashton Community Centre. We will be playing during the interval – likely two 40 minute set. Food and drink will be provided. Will play in Village Hall if weather is bad. (See here and here for more information). Saturday 8 September Clift Road Triangle Street Party The weather looks like it will be kind for us – the gig is going ahead. Bring pegs to hold music if it gets breezy and a jacket.
